AbdonTransportation Systems, Inc. was established in 1986 by our founder and C.E.O.,E.L. “Woody” Kappen. Woody gained his over 30 years experience by working for companies such as Watkins Motor Line and Mercury Motors. His mission was to create a freight brokerage company built on the foundation of simple principles of honesty, dependability, and commitment to service. Woody’s goal has remained to operate his company ethically in order to restore the reputation of quality freight broker sand to provide our customers with peace of mind.

These principles proved to be very effective in 1986 and now in 2013, under our current President, Allen Lyle. As we celebrate our 27th year as a privately owned family business, these principles continue to be the foundation of our company. Allen has served under Woody for over 25years in which he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience and continues to operate Abdon under the values established by Woody. We are proud to offer decades of knowledge and service to both our customers and our over 3,000 trusted carriers all over the United States.
